Highway to Pluto – where acoustic originals meet reimagined rock, pop, country & blues classics – is Jane’s recently-launched solo project.

Rick is an acoustic guitarist, songwriter and bandleader and will be playing a selection of his original fingerstyle instrumentals and songs of social commentary and metaphysical reflection that feature vivid characters, strange stories, and reflections in being human. This performance will include songs from his forthcoming CD, Story Teller, and a selection of songs written this past year. This will be Rick’s last acoustic performance until next summer.

Fifty years later he continues to create, perform, and explore the way we hear and interpret music. His most recent group, “Jazz The Dog”, continues along the imaginative musical path with fellow musicians Rick Zeek and Patti Maxine.

Michael plays guitar and the mandolin-like Portuguese guitarra, along with Half Moon Bay local Dave Schorr on upright bass and guitar.They’ve played a wide range of musical genres and their inspration draws from bossa nova and other Brazilian music, fado, tango, and classic American jazz.

Mark is an original finger-style acoustic guitar player ranging in styles from new-age ambient, slide, flamenco, Brazilian, and contemporary original compositions. His influences include Michael Hedges, Pat Metheny, Lawrence Juber, Alex DeGrassi, Tommy Emmanuel, Al DiMeola, Leo Kottke and Pierre Bensusan.
